A 40% non-refundable deposit (acompte in French law) is required at time of booking. The balance to be paid by the end of April. Holidays booked less than eight weeks in advance to be paid fully at time of booking.

Payment may be made via bank transfer or PayPal. Please note that we do not accept credit/debit cards.

The lodges sleep two adults and two children (under 16) comfortably. Additional adults/children over 16 may be accommodated but please contact us to discuss.

For high season, bookings are usually only available Saturday – Saturday but please enquire.

The lodges are available from 3pm and we ask you to checkout by 10am. We will try and accommodate late checkout requests however we are happy for you to use the facilities of Les étangs on your day of arrival/departure, before/after check in/out and we would be happy to store your luggage. If you have not vacated your lodge by 10am (without prior agreement) we reserve the right to charge a late departure fee of €50 per hour.

Check in is available between 3pm and 8pm. After 8pm we unable to receive guests.

We will confirm all details of your booking by email and you have five working days to check this and let us know if there is anything that needs changing.

You have 14 days 'cool off' time to cancel your reservation, after which your non refundable deposit (acompte) is legally binding. By paying your deposit (acompte) you are stating that you agree to our terms and conditions.

We ask you to settle your bill in cash the night prior to departure for anything you have purchased (bike hire, snacks etc)

Cancellation
Unfortunately all deposits (acompte) and balances are non refundable. If you do have to cancel we will endeavor to resell your booking and if we successfully resell all your dates for the same price you agreed to, we will return your deposit (and balance if it has been paid). We do reserve the right to withhold a €250 administration fee.

If the balance of  payment for your booking is not received on time and you have not contacted us regarding a cancellation we reserve the right to cancel your booking, no refund will be made of your deposit.

We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance which will cover you under certain circumstances if you have to cancel your booking.

Moving your booked dates
If you need to change your booked dates we will be happy to accommodate your request if possible, no refund if moving to a lower priced week will be made but you will be asked for additional payment if your change moves into a more expensive week.

If we have to cancel your holiday
Although highly unlikely, it is possible that we may have to cancel your holiday, due to circumstances beyond our control. This could include Adverse weather conditions, flooding, , natural disasters, , illness, disease or acts of god. Should this happen we will refund the cost of your booking. However you will not be entitled to any compensation.

Similarly if during your stay, due to circumstances beyond our control (see above), we have to evacuate the site, we will endeavour to find alternative accommodation for your party. If this is necessary you will not be entitled to any compensation however you may be able to claim through your personal holiday insurance.

The size of your party
We reserve the right to insist you book a further tent or refuse admission if your party size and ages are different from those we confirmed when you booked.

Delays
Travel arrangements are your responsibility and we will charge for days that are missed due to travel problems, however your personal travel insurance may cover this.
